In the Winter of My Hobby

It has been TWO MONTHS since I’ve posted, thank you WordPress.

I know. I just. I’ve written nothing. I’ve done no twittering. I’ve shared a few things on Facebook. I want so badly to come back and I just can’t find the time and the energy. Sometimes there’s the time, sometimes there’s the energy but there’s rarely both at the same time.

I’m a hibernation period, I’ve decided. I’m not done. I’ll never be done. But for real, ya’ll, I need some rest. I need to sleep. I need to spend time with my children. And I need less stress.

So I’m going to hibernate. And in the spring, when there’s warm air and longer days and I’ve either survived my six-month job review or been fired, then maybe I can start writing again.
